At The Fearnes, Knyveton Road, Bournemouth we offer short or long stay breaks during holiday periods.

If you need a break, why not let our friendly and experienced care staff take care of you or your loved one for a while? The Fearnes is a purpose built care home which also offers care for those with memory impairments such as dementia. Drop in for a chat and see how we can help with your care needs.

If you and your carers fancy a break from each other this Christmas, give yourself a festive holiday!

The Fearnes residential care home offers respite care which can be as long or as short as you like, and at this time of the year can provide you with a seasonally-themed holiday while giving your carers an opportunity to get on with all the Christmas preparations.

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without entertainment! As well as care, comfort and companionship there is a fun programme during December featuring songs and games with Susanne, Christmas Cabaret with David from the famous Monarchs, songs from Andy Dolan, and favourite carols from local schools. Also coming up soon is the Christmas Tombola and Raffle morning on Saturday 10 December 2011 at 10.30am at The Fearnes, all are welcome, so please come along!

“The build-up to Christmas and the holiday period itself is always a busy time for families and very often an elderly relative can feel in the way,” says home manager Lynne Rourke. “A respite break can be the answer, and we will make sure you are warm and well cared for in an atmosphere of Christmas good cheer.”

The Fearnes, at 26 Knyveton Road in Bournemouth, is one of 16 care homes in Dorset operated by care charity Care South, a leading provider of residential and home care in the south of England.
