Since its formation in 1991, Care South (known as The Dorset Trust until 2005) has built on an excellent reputation for the provision of high quality care services – recognising the importance of training and development of staff in the delivery of quality care.

In recent years Care South has expanded its range of care services to meet the needs of the community. Our Domiciliary Care division, working in partnership with local authorities, provides an extensive and innovative range of domiciliary care and support services for all ages and disabilities across Bournemouth, Dorset, South Somerset, East Devon and Exeter, and the New Forest.

The Company has embarked upon a redevelopment programme for the replacement of some of its residential care homes for older people to include much needed specialist dementia facilities. At our new home in Weymouth we provide an innovative rehabilitation service in partnership with colleagues from the Local Authority and the local Primary Care Trust.

Care South has its own in-house Training and NVQ Centre which has an excellent reputation and provides training for both Care South staff and staff of other providers.

The Company has plans for continued expansion in the South of England to meet demand and the needs of individuals, Local Authorities and Primary Care Trusts. In expanding, our ethos of ‘Delivering Quality Care’ will remain unaltered.
