Members of the Garden Club at Kenwith Castle have been hard at work in the home’s gardens, planting new shrubs and flowers for everyone to look at over the summer months.
After a busy session, a well earned cuppa was the order of the day, which the residents enjoyed outside, sitting on the garden benches and admiring their handiwork.
Some of the residents have also taken part in an afternoon of baking. Donning their aprons, the residents busied themselves with making quiches, beating the ingredients together before pouring into the pastry cases, adding some toppings and seasoning, before putting them in the oven to bake.
Later, everyone enjoyed tucking into their yummy creations.
