Rehabilitation Care

Restoring health and mobility after injury or illness

Nursing home Nursing home

Two of our residential homes offer rehabilitation care, which is a short stay after an injury or illness to restore a client’s health and mobility to a level of self-sufficiency where they can return home.

This may follow a spell in hospital or a programme of treatment from other health professionals, and will often include medical care given by visiting district nurses or nurses from local hospitals.

Our rehabilitation clients are also supported by a dedicated team including a nurse practitioner, physiotherapist and occupational therapist.

Rehabilitation care is available at Buxton House in Weymouth and Maiden Castle House in Dorchester.
