A special place caring for people with severe dementia in North Bournemouth
At Leybourne House we provide high quality dementia care within a safe and caring environment for people who are no longer able to live independently. We look after both men and women with all stages of dementia within an environment where residents can live their lives as if in the comfort of their own home, but cared for by dedicated staff, trained to nationally recognised standards.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1986 and have worked with impatient and community services within the NHS in nursing and nursing management roles. Following my early retirement in 2001 I lived abroad and became involved with Alzheimer’s de Espana.
Returning to the U.K in 2008 I chose to join Leybourne House as I am dedicated to improving services for those with dementia. My vision is for Leybourne House to become a centre of excellence of care and a place in which the residents can feel valued and respected and which they feel proud to call "home".
