Felicity has been Chairman of Care South (formerly The Dorset Trust) since 2000 and is a founder member of the Board of Trustees of the charity, which was formed in 1991.
She lives in Dorset and has been involved in voluntary organisations for more than 40 years and has raised millions of pounds for charity.
She has served as a Justice of the Peace, Chairman of the Wessex branch of the Institute of Directors, Relate marriage guidance, Dorset Conciliation and has served as Governor of Bournemouth University, Poole Grammar School and Dumpton School. She was a regional executive for Television South and is a public relations consultant. She enjoys tennis, flying, and sporting challenges, having run the London Marathon, biked around the Dead Sea and skydived for charity.

Chris has been a Director of Care South for a number of years and is presently our Vice Chairman. He is also Chairman of the Audit Committee and serves on both the Property and Development and Remuneration Committees.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and for many years, until his retirement, was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP both in the UK and overseas.
During his professional career he worked closely with a number of clients in the not-for-profit sector through which he has gained an in-depth understanding of the particular issues affecting businesses of a charitable nature.

Sheila is a solicitor who has spent all her working life specialising in law for the elderly including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorneys and deputyship matters. Shelia is a member of the renumeration committee.
She has also been Chairman of Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
She has a keen interest in improving the care and services available to those of advancing years and sees her involvement with Care South as a way of furthering these aims.

Richard was appointed to the Care South board in May 2009 and is a member of the Property and Development Committee.
He is also the principal of a management consultancy company which specialises in the provision of facilities management expertise within the health and residential care sector. His work extends throughout the UK and also overseas.
Richard previously had a long and distinguished career with the National Health Service, developing innovative service solutions to support and enable clinical care advancements.

James is a chartered surveyor who for most of his professional career specialised in advice on issues relating to property development and town planning. He joined the board of Care South in 2007, around the time of his retirement from full time practice.
He brings experience on property-related matters and is Chair of the Care South Property and Development Committee.

Richard has been a consultant physician in geriatric medicine at Poole Hospital since 1988, with interests in drug therapy, stroke, and rehabilitation. He is Chairman of the Dorset Stroke Support Association, and has been the England representative on the finance committee of the British Geriatrics Society. He contributes to the board in many ways, including a focus on the quality of care.

Trish joined the Board of Care South in 2005 following a dedicated career in Education in schools and universities, then with Local Authorities and more recently as Area Director with the Learning and Skills Council.
Until his death in 2008, Trish’s father was a resident at Elizabeth House, so Trish is able to contribute a very personal view of the Company’s approach to residents and their families. Trish serves on the Remuneration Committee.

Richard joined the board of Care South in May 2010. He was a General Manager of The Woolwich Building Society, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a past President of the Charted Institute of Building Societies.
He is a past Chairman of the Lord's Taverners and Chairman of the Orpheus Trust, an Independent Specialist College developing life time skills for disabled young adults, he is also a Non Executive Director of a property company.
