Could you care? Recruitment open day at The Fearnes

18th February 2011

The Fearnes is a welcoming care home which delivers residential and dementia care to clients with a diverse range of needs.

The demand for good care provision is constantly increasing, and residential care homes are required to maintain staff levels 24 hours a day throughout the year.

The Fearnes residential care home in Bournemouth is meeting the recruitment challenge head on by holding a recruitment open day. The home manager, Alan Wyeth, together with other members of the team will be on hand to show potential new recruits around the home and generally chat about working at The Fearnes.

The Recruitment Open Day is on Wednesday 2 March from 9am to 6pm.

Interviews and the completion of application forms will also be carried out on the day. So that applications can be processed quickly attendees are asked to bring three forms of identification. This can include a passport or driving licence, plus a utility bill and a bank statement which shows the name and address. Previous experience of working in care is not initially required – The Fearnes will provide new staff members with the necessary training to do their job well.

The Fearnes, at 26 Knyveton Road, is a friendly home in central Bournemouth close to the train station and major bus routes.

Anyone who would like to work at The Fearnes but is not able to attend the Recruitment Open Day can call Alan Wyeth on 01202 296906 to make an appointment to attend on another date or you can apply online for any live jobs, see the live job board link below.
