Wickmeads residents enjoying a Fish and Chip lunch in the sunny gardens as part of the NAPA June ‘Food Glorious Food’ month.
Residents of Wickmeads residential care home in Southbourne enjoyed a fish and chips lunch in the sun as part of Food Glorious Food week. Food Glorious Food is this year’s challenge by NAPA (the National Association of Providers of Activities for Older People) and aims to inspire opportunities for activities which ensure that mealtimes are fun experiences in the day rather than just routines to be carried out. The aim is to ensure that as many residents and staff as possible are involved in fun food related activities. Activities can happen at any time during June and NAPA is offering five prizes and invitations to a gala afternoon tea event in London to the most inspirational activities. An application form can be downloaded from www.napa-activities.co.uk – ‘What’s New’.
