Helping to improve quality of life at home

"You did such a good job and helped keep Mum in her own home, which was what she so wanted."

Care South’s home care service offers a personalised, flexible service to meet a range of care and support needs aimed to improve the quality of life for people of all ages.

Care South is a well-established not-for-profit company and a leading provider of care services in the south of England. At a local level our services are delivered by skilled and friendly teams who will help you to maintain your independence and remain living at home for as long as you wish.

Our well trained staff can help with everything from personal and night care to general support and companionship. They can help you around your home with some light cleaning and even assist with your weekly shop, preparing meals or accompany you to and from hospital and other appointments.

With Care South you get piece of mind that you and your loved ones are being cared for by a well trained, supportive local team. As part of our service we provide a help line with staff available to respond to emergencies between the hours of 7am – 10pm 365 days per year.

We see comprehensive, high quality staff training as vital to our ability to deliver quality care and support, and that is why we have our own in-house Training Centre. Each training venue has a fully equipped manual handling suite which includes a wide variety of equipment including hoists, stand aids and slide sheets. All our trainers hold nationally recognised teaching qualifications and use a full range of training methods including classroom-based sessions and interactive media to ensure our staff are skilled and trained in the latest techniques.

As well as being compassionate and professional, all our staff receive enhanced criminal records checks which mean that we can provide you with a reassuring level of security and peace of mind.

We provide care and support to everyone from young disabled people and adults with physical or learning disabilities to people who need a bit of help getting back to normal after a stay in hospital. Many of our customers are older people who need a helping hand with their everyday lives to maintain their independence.

Please telephone our offices to arrange a no obligation home visit from one of our senior staff to discuss with you your requirements and to suggest the best combination of services for you and a price to suit your pocket.

Our personalised care and support service can be on-going, short term, or called upon from time-to-time, whatever suits your situation.
