This Saturday (28 July), Care South’s The Fearnes care home in Bournemouth, will be holding a summer fete. The event will officially be opened by the Mayor of Bournemouth, Councillor Phil Stanley-Watts, at 12.15pm and will feature a whole range of activities for all the family to enjoy.
The entertainment will start from 11am with an hour-long ABBA medley from local singing duo, The Land Girls. Stalls on the day will be selling a variety of items including, books, clothing, homemade cakes, refreshments and bric-a-brac. There will also be a ‘name the dog’ competition, tombola and a raffle.
Care home manager, Lynne Rourke commented: “The event will be raising money for the home’s amenity fund. We would like to invite everyone along to what I am sure will be a fantastic day.”
The event will take place at The Fearnes, 26 Knyveton Road, Bournemouth, BH1 3QR. Entrance will be 50p.
