A new close care development at Strome Park near Storrington was launched in March with the opening of the elegant show flat.

This development of eleven stylish two-bed apartments provides close care for people who want to re-locate or downsize to maintenance free accommodation in their later years, with the comfort of knowing that extra care and support is nearby if needed.

Strome Park has been developed by Care South, a leading provider of high quality, innovative residential and home care services in the south of England.

Felicity Irwin, Chairman of Care South, said: “Close care provides an ideal environment if, in your retirement years, you want to move to accommodation where you are entirely free to enjoy the life you want, but with the peace of mind that professional staff and excellent facilities, which ‘Sussexdown’ our Care South home provides, are next door should this become a requirement  in the future”.

Strome Park stands in the private grounds of the historic Sussexdown care home in Storrington. As well as providing an independent lifestyle in a modern and secure development, Strome Park offers many features to make life as easy as possible for the people who live there.

Sussexdown is one of 20 homes operated by Care South, and Strome Park is the latest of the company’s close care developments, the first being Beauchamp Gardens in the grounds of the Georgian listed Beauchamp House in Somerset.  As an established not-for-profit charity, Care South specializes in delivering quality care and  is dedicated to supporting people to maintain their independence and dignity in later life.
