Dorset House enjoys Dignity Action Day
Last week, residents at Dorset House were treated to a pampering session and afternoon tea for Dignity Action Day.
Dignity Action Day is an annual opportunity for care workers and members of the public to uphold people’s rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable day for people who use care services.
The ladies and gentlemen of Dorset House had the opportunity to enjoy head massages, manicures, hand and foot massages, face masks, and a foot spa all provided by the staff and a lovely student volunteer from Lychett Minster School. Whilst they were being pampered the residents also enjoyed tea, coffee and a selection of delicious cakes and biscuits.
The day was a huge success with the residents queuing up at the door for their turn to be treated and chat with staff. It was so popular that there will now be regular pampering sessions for residents to enjoy some well deserved relaxation. The next session is already eagerly anticipated by all the residents.
