Fremington Manor festivities
Fremington Manor has had a lovely time over the festive period with a Christmas sing along, a visit to the Rosemoor illuminations and an early New Year’s celebration.
Residents were delighted by a visit from the Torridge Shanty group who sung a wonderful selection of Christmas songs. Residents were very complimentary of the excellent Christmas jumpers sported by the group. The residents had a lot of fun singing along to the songs and getting in the Christmas spirit.
A group of residents took a trip to the Royal Horticultural Society Garden Rosemoor in Great Torrington to see the festive illuminations. The group had a lovely time wondering around the displays, admiring the stunning lights and magical displays – all of which were deemed very beautiful by the residents. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant at Rosemoor which was well earned after walking around the frosty garden.
On New Year’s Eve, the residents celebrated the New Year a little early – counting down to midday meant no one missed out on the countdown or their sleep. The residents enjoyed a meal, party hats and all the usual celebrations. New Year’s Eve was a very happy afternoon at Fremington Manor and the residents said they are all looking forward to celebrating next year.
