A ‘Range’ of activities at St Ives House

26th September 2017

A group of residents and staff from St Ives House enjoyed a trip recently to ‘The Range’ to shop for bulbs to plant in the home’s gardens, ready for next spring.

The residents were very pleased to visit somewhere new and were particularly impressed with the wonderful array of Halloween decorations on sale.

Back at the home that afternoon, staff hosted a tea dance for the residents, which was very well received. The residents enjoyed singing and dancing along to all the old classic songs. One resident, Pam, even took to the keyboard herself, putting on a spontaneous performance for the rest of the residents and staff. Pam said she loved playing the keyboard again and it brought back many happy memories from her childhood when she used to play the piano for her family.
