St Ives residents get active!
Residents at St Ives House have been enjoying some physical activity over the last few weeks, with games of balloon tennis and skittles, as well as a visit from the team at AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust.
Everyone at St Ives always enjoy their visits from the Cherries, who set a series of fun challenges for the residents to tackle, including hitting cones and practising ball control to win points.
Residents have also been busy playing skittles and a mini competition was organised, with an awards ceremony and medal for the winner. Balloon tennis is also proving popular, providing a chance for residents to stretch their arms and practise their hand-eye coordination skills. Starting off easily with one balloon, the difficulty soon increased when another two balloons were added to the mix and it certainly had everyone laughing as they played along.
