St Martins Grange celebrates the royal wedding
Residents at St Martins Grange have been feeling the wedding fever this month in the lead up to the royal wedding. As they enjoyed hearing the news of the plans for the big day residents reminisced about previous royal weddings and street parties they enjoyed as children. It was also a great opportunity to reminisce about their own wedding days.
Staff and residents enjoyed a buffet lunch in the Circle room whilst watching the wedding on television. The lounge was decorated with balloons and bunting and each resident had a union flag to wave, some of the ladies donned their special hats for the occasion. The home’s Chef prepared a delicious buffet of strawberries and ice cream and wedding-themed fairy cakes, which were enjoyed with a glass of wine or Shloer.
Everyone enjoyed watching the wedding and there was lots of chatter about it in the days following.
