Sussexdown enjoys new herb garden

9th May 2018

Residents at Sussexdown have recently been enjoying the new sensory herb gardens that have recently been planted around the grounds. The herb gardens are designed to be as sensory as possible for residents to touch, feel and smell with herbs including rosemary, thyme, garlic and many more. The gardens are adorned with pretty solar lights that illuminate the herbs at nights. Sussexdown will soon be installing another sensory herb garden outside the dementia ward for therapeutic use. The residents love spending time outside by the herb gardens and enjoy the wonderful smell and feel of the herbs.
