Talbot View gets a bit of Oomph!

22nd November 2017

Residents at Talbot View enjoyed taking part in their weekly Oomph! activity session at the home. Using a variety of props, including sensory balls, pom poms and colourful scarves, the residents are encouraged to follow simple exercises, move and sing along to upbeat music. One of the resident’s daughters even joined in with the fun!

The exercise sessions are an important and popular part of the activity programme at Talbot View, with residents commenting on how good they feel after they have taken part.

Oomph! wellness classes are a popular activity employed across the homes. These interactive, chair-based exercise sessions, which are set to music are proven to provide mental stimulation, improve mobility and positively impact the general wellbeing of participants.
