Staff and residents, including some furry four legged friends, celebrating together at St Martins Royal Wedding party.
Residents of St Martins residential care home in Gillingham enjoyed their own indoor ‘street party’ to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The dining room was set up in street party style with patriotic decorations and bunting, and after watching the wedding the residents enjoyed a late picnic lunch. After lunch some of the residents went into Gillingham town to join the community for their celebrations. Deputy Home Manager Kristie Chubb says: “Tables were set up through the high street and Gillingham silver band was playing. The weather held out and the residents had a wonderful time!”
