Saturday 28 July, saw Care South’s Mount Pleasant care home in Weymouth hold its annual summer fayre which raised a superb £415.45 for the home.
There was plenty of entertainment on the day for the crowds to enjoy, including a fantastic performance from local dance group – Just Dance.
Stalls sold a variety of items including books and bric-a-brac as well as offering face painting. There was also a BBQ and refreshments including tea, coffee and cakes.
Care home manager, Anna-Marie Gill commented: “The event was a great success and we raised a fantastic total, which will go towards a new sensory garden for our residents.
“We would like to thank all the staff and residents who helped organise what was a great day as well as the companies who very kindly donated items and time to help the fayre, including; Marks and Spencer, Morrisons, Springfields, Mayfair Hair and Beauty, Dorset Cake Company, Viking, Arty Party Cakes and Just Dance.”
