This Saturday (28 July), Care South’s Mount Pleasant care home in Weymouth will be holding its annual summer fayre.
There will be plenty of entertainment on the day for all the family to enjoy, including performances from two local dance groups – Just Dance and Platinum School for Dance – alongside a display of martial arts from Weymouth Martial Arts Academy.
Stalls on the day will be selling a variety of items including books and bric-a-brac as well as offering face painting. There will be a BBQ and refreshments including tea, coffee and cakes.
Care home manager, Anna-Marie Gill commented: “The event is free and all the money raised from stalls will help raise funds for a sensory garden for our residents. We hope everyone will come along and enjoy the day with us in aid of a great cause.”
The event will run from 11am-4pm at Mount Pleasant, 21 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Weymouth, DT3 5JF.
