Time out to rest and recuperate

With respite care we take on the caring role while people who normally look after family members take some time out to recuperate or attend to other areas of their lives.

There are lots of reasons for thinking about respite care. It may be useful after a stay in hospital or while waiting to move somewhere permanent. It gives everyone a break, and can also help families to decide if the time is right to live in a care home permanently.

This care is available in many of our residential, nursing and dementia care homes. Whether you need care for a few days, weeks or months, we’ll work with you to make sure we give the right balance of care to match your individual needs.
