A Morning of Creativity and Remembrance at Marjorie House

Residents at Marjorie House came together in the Captain’s Club for a heartfelt and creative activity – making poppies and poppy wreaths in preparation for Remembrance. It was a peaceful and reflective session, filled with conversation, shared memories, and the comforting aroma of tea and coffee.

As the morning went on, the tables were soon covered in beautifully handcrafted poppies, each one made with care and love. The residents took great pride in their creations, knowing that these tokens of remembrance will soon be displayed proudly throughout Marjorie House.

The activity provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to pause, reflect, and honour those who served, while also enjoying each other’s company. Moments like these are a lovely reminder of the importance of creativity, connection, and community spirit.
