The lounge at Wickmeads was full of anticipation as a professional musical duo arrived to entertain residents for the afternoon. With a wealth of experience in the entertainment world, Mark and Tracey from Serenade quickly set the scene as they prepared their performance, creating a sense of excitement throughout the home.

From the moment the first notes were played, it was clear this was going to be a special experience for everyone involved.

Tracey’s performance was a real highlight of the afternoon. Alongside her beautiful singing, she also played both the flute and saxophone, filling the lounge and corridors with magical musical sounds that captivated residents and staff alike.

As the performance continued, residents sang along, danced in their chairs and fully immersed themselves in the music. John quickly became the star of the show, sitting proudly in the back row, waving his arms to each song and clearly loving every moment.

As the afternoon reached its climax, Mark invited the audience to choose a song to close the performance. Stuart eagerly requested Wind Beneath My Wings, made famous by Bette Midler. Tracey delivered a stunning rendition, bringing the musical journey to a heartfelt close.
