The festive season at Wickmeads  was made even more special with a very kind visit from staff from JP Morgan, who took the time to deliver a beautiful Christmas hamper and a collection of handwritten Christmas cards for our residents.

These thoughtful gestures were warmly received and brought genuine joy to everyone at Wickmeads. The cards have since been carefully handed out to all residents, many of whom took time to read each message slowly and thoughtfully, appreciating the special words written just for them.

Small Gestures That Mean So Much

For many residents, Christmas cards carry deep meaning. They are a reminder that people are thinking of them, valuing their lives and wishing them well during a season that can sometimes feel quiet or reflective. Several residents shared how touched they were by the kindness shown, with smiles, laughter and even a few happy tears as they read their messages.

The Christmas hamper was equally appreciated, adding to the festive atmosphere already building throughout the home. Moments like these help make Christmas feel warm, connected and full of kindness.

Creating Connection at Christmas

At Care South, we believe that community connections are vital to wellbeing, particularly at this time of year. Acts of generosity like this reflect the spirit of togetherness that sits at the heart of everything we do. Visits from organisations and local partners help our residents feel part of the wider world and remind them they are not alone.

We are incredibly grateful to the JP Morgan team for taking the time to think of our residents and for spreading such kindness and cheer.
