We were absolutely delighted to welcome the classic Punch and Judy show to Fern Brook Lodge, filling the home with laughter, nostalgia, and that unmistakable touch of traditional seaside charm.

The lounge was alive with excitement as residents, staff, and visiting relatives gathered together to enjoy this timeless performance, which has entertained generations for over 350 years.

Laughter, Fun and Colourful Characters

The lively puppetry, cheeky humour, and brightly dressed characters had everyone smiling from start to finish. There were plenty of laughs as the familiar antics of Mr Punch unfolded, with the audience joining in to cheer, clap, and call out at all the right moments.

For many of our residents, the show brought back happy memories of childhood trips to the seaside – standing on the beach, ice cream in hand, and hearing the sounds of Punch and Judy echoing above the waves.
