At Fern Brook Lodge, residents were taken on a joyful journey through memories of sunny holidays, travel adventures, and seaside traditions – all thanks to Jan, who brought in her delightful collection of holiday-themed memorabilia.

The lounge was soon filled with laughter as residents and staff gathered to share stories and take a look at Jan’s collection, which sparked memories of trips abroad, family caravans, seaside paddles and travel mementos.

Adding to the fun, Jan gave a spirited rendition of “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”, much to the delight of everyone. It wasn’t long before staff and residents joined in, not just with the singing, but also by dressing up in fun holiday outfits – sun hats, scarves and bright summer colours brought the room to life.
