An Easter Celebration Full of Music and Joy at Castle Dene

Residents, families and team members at Castle Dene enjoyed a wonderful early Easter celebration on 2 April, bringing everyone together for an afternoon filled with music, laughter and sweet treats.

The highlight of the day was a special live performance from singer “Past Timer”, who entertained everyone with a selection of much-loved songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The familiar tunes sparked fond memories, with residents and their families singing along, clapping and fully embracing the joyful atmosphere. It was a lovely reminder of how music can bring people together and create meaningful shared moments.

Adding to the excitement, a raffle was held with a fantastic selection of chocolate and sweet treats up for grabs. There was plenty of anticipation as tickets were drawn, followed by smiles and laughter as prizes were won and shared. The raffle brought a real sense of fun and togetherness to the afternoon.

To complete the celebration, residents were treated to a delicious selection of traditional Easter refreshments. Hot cross buns, Easter biscuits and a comforting cup of tea or coffee were enjoyed by all, creating a warm and relaxed setting for conversation and connection.
