National Bird Day inspires craft session at Buxton House
On January 5th, National Bird Day, residents at Buxton House, Pat, Joan, and Sylvia enjoyed creating birds using polystyrene balls, feathers, and coloured sequins for the eyes. The staff assisted them by using a glue gun to assemble the pieces. The completed birds looked very impressive on the decorative tree, which will be placed in the foyer for everyone to admire.
Everyone is looking forward to warmer days when they can sit in the garden and watch the real birds.
