Buxton House celebrates Activities Lead Michele’s 10 years of dedicated service
Residents and colleagues at Buxton House, Care South’s residential care home in Weymouth, recently came together to celebrate a very special milestone as Activities Lead Michele marked 10 years of service with the not-for-profit charity.
Michele was presented with flowers and a long service award by Home Manager Lauren Taylor, recognising a decade of dedication, compassion and commitment to enriching the lives of residents.
Michele first joined Buxton House as an Activities Assistant and, through her passion for supporting residents alongside the training, encouragement and career development opportunities available at Care South, has progressed into her current role as Activities Lead.
Over the past 10 years, Michele has played an important role in creating meaningful experiences for residents, helping to ensure every day is filled with opportunities for friendship, fun and engagement. From organising creative activities and celebrations to supporting residents in achieving personal wishes and making treasured memories, her enthusiasm has made a lasting difference to life at Buxton House.
