Residential care

Person-centred care in friendly and comfortable homes designed around our residents

Find a care home

Where to begin…

Looking for care is hard; you need to weigh up so many things to make the right decision for the person you love, and we understand that.

However, we can help you make those decisions with kindness, compassion and understanding. The best place to start is to give one of our care home teams a call, or leave your details on the enquiry form below.

Here are a few things it might be helpful to think about:

How does the process work?

Very few people are familiar with the process for coming into a care home, but it’s very simple and straightforward.

We simply want to find out whether we can meet your care needs, your dietary needs and that we are able to understand what is important to you in socialising and entertainment on a daily basis.

Simply give one of our care home teams a call, or leave an enquiry below. We will take the time to answer all your questions, talk you through the admissions process and make all the necessary arrangements with you.

We would encourage you to take a look at our homes for yourself to see what life is like and whether it is right for you. Unfortunately, a visit is not currently possible due to COVID-19 restrictions, but all of our homes have Skype or other video call facilities and our home managers are happy to have a video call with you – it is important you feel comfortable with them and the home.

Once you’ve decided on a care home, we will help you to personalise the room to help it feel more like your home.

What is most important when it comes to a care home?

Residents and relatives tell us care homes are about companionship, social interaction, a fulfilled lifestyle, good food and above all compassionate care centred around you.

Each person is an individual and what is most important to you, might not be to someone else. It is important for us to understand your care needs, likes and dislikes, interests, and generally get to know you a bit better.

What type of care?

We personalise to each resident and the majority of our care homes offer specialised dementia care, whether the condition is in its early stages, or there has been a diagnosis in place for some time. When will we be able to visit?

Our care homes are our residents’ new homes, so during normal times you can visit whenever you wish. Unfortunately, due to the risks of COVID-19, we have had to introduce new measures to keep residents and staff safe.

We now in a position where we can safely accommodate visits in designated visiting areas inside our care homes. Visitors can access those areas without having to enter any other area of the home and residents do not need to venture outside of the building.

If you are visiting, please make sure that you have arranged the visit with the home manager beforehand and that you are feeling well before you visit.  As you will be coming into our buildings you will be required to wear a face mask – provided by us – at all times, and to apply hand sanitiser.

If you are unable to visit, all our care homes still have tablets with Skype and Zoom so that you can continue to stay in face-to-face contact with your loved ones.

We also encourage visits if a loved one is receiving end-of-life care, and it is especially important that you discuss those visits with the home manager so that we can help at this very difficult time.
