Our culture and values

Always being open, truthful, consistent, and taking ownership of our own actions.

Being determined to be the best we can be, and delivering quality care.

Treating everyone as an individual and focusing on their individual strengths and needs.

Recognising that everyone comes from a diverse background, with a variety of values and beliefs.

Working together to get things done, sharing information and supporting each other, understanding that everyone has a contribution to make.

As a not-for-profit charity and leading provider of care in the south of England, our focus is always on our people, including our care home residents, our care at home service users, and our Care South Team.

It is very important to us that every member of our Team shares our HEART values and strives to uphold our high standards and deliver excellent quality care. Our regular engagement surveys continually emphasise the importance of our HEART values to all of the Care South Team in guiding everything we do…

“The HEART values are important to the way we work.”

“One the main motivators is the residents and the positive difference we make to their lives.”

“Not every day is the same.”

“We feel supported by the management team.”

“We feel encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for our work.”

… and we are extremely proud of the dedication that our Team continue to demonstrate to providing high quality care.
