Celebrating 15 Years of Dedication with Care South at Home
At Care South at Home, we are proud to celebrate an important milestone as our colleague Sally marks 15 years of dedicated service in community care. Her journey within the organisation reflects both her personal commitment to helping others and the supportive career development opportunities available within the Care South team.
From Care Assistant to Care Co-ordinator
Sally first joined Care South at Home as a Care Assistant, providing compassionate support to clients in their own homes. In this role, she helped individuals maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing while building meaningful relationships with the people she supported and the colleagues she worked alongside.
During these early years, Sally gained valuable hands-on experience in delivering person-centred care, learning first-hand how important it is to understand each individual’s needs, routines and preferences. She remembers fondly the many wonderful clients and dedicated colleagues she worked with during this time.
As her career progressed, Sally moved into the office as Admin Support, where she played a key role in helping coordinate care services and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Her strong organisational skills and in-depth knowledge of the care sector soon led her to step into her current role as Care Co-ordinator.
Today, Sally helps ensure that clients receive reliable, well-planned home care services, while also supporting carers working in the community. Her role is vital in making sure care visits are organised effectively and that both clients and carers feel supported.
Reflecting on 15 Years in Care
Looking back on her time with Care South at Home, Sally shared:
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since I first joined Care South. I really enjoyed my time as a Care Assistant and met some amazing people dedicated carers and fascinating clients.
I have been supported along the way to achieve my current role of Care Co-ordinator. I want to thank those who guided me in the early days and the current team, whose dedication is an inspiration.”
Supporting Careers in Community Care
