Celebrating 55 Years of Love at Alexandra House
At Alexandra House, special moments are celebrated with care, and on 2 May 2025, residents and staff were honoured to help Tony and his wife Hilary mark their 55th wedding anniversary.
To make the day extra meaningful, the team arranged for Tony to present Hilary with a handwritten card, along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. With gentle support from the activities team, Tony was able to write a personal message in the card, which Hilary was deeply touched to receive.
Hilary, a familiar and much-loved visitor to Alexandra House, often joins Tony on outings and takes part in home activities. Her ongoing support and appreciation for the team make her a special part of the Alexandra House community.
Reflecting on the day, Hilary said, “Thank you all so much for your kindness. It was lovely to spend the day with Tony on our anniversary.”
It was a simple but touching celebration, and a reminder of the deep connections that continue to grow within the home. The Alexandra House team felt privileged to be part of such a cherished milestone.
