St Ives House welcomed Creature Teachers to the home. Lisa, who rescues and trains the animals brought with her a variety of animals to meet the residents, including Percy the Rabbit, Echo the Owl, Sunshine the Ferret, Phoenix the Iguana and Jasper the Milk Snake. Echo was a firm favourite, the Owl flew between the residents with a wingspan of approximately a foot in length, it was truly a magical display.

Residents had such a lovely afternoon with the animals, and Lisa spent time engaging and talking with residents about the animals natural habitats, what their normal dietary requirements are, their ages and common characteristics.

Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and look forward to further visits from Creature Teachers!
