Fairlawn Overrun by Naughty Elves for Elf Day Celebrations

Fairlawn was full of festive fun and mischief on 2 December 2025 as Elf Day brought a burst of Christmas cheer to residents and staff alike. The home was taken over by a lively group of naughty elves, all dressed up to raise awareness and support for Alzheimer’s Society.

Leading the festivities was Head Elf Tina, who spread joy throughout the home by handing out Elf chocolates and candy canes to staff as part of our second day of advent. Her cheerful energy set the tone for a wonderfully spirited day.

At 2pm, residents gathered for the much-anticipated Elf Parade, where staff proudly showcased their festive costumes. Laughter and applause filled the room as elves marched, posed and entertained. The biggest cheer of all went to Isaac, who was crowned our 2025 Elf Day winner. His delight was clear as he even celebrated with a joyful jump, much to the amusement of residents and colleagues.

No Elf Day would be complete without photos, and our staff made the most of the opportunity, gathering by Fairlawn’s festive Santa sleigh for pictures that captured the magic of the day. Meanwhile, Hazel, determined not to miss out, tried her hardest to join the fun despite needing to stay indoors. Her playful attempts to escape added even more laughter to an already joyful celebration.

The day perfectly captured the spirit of Christmas at Fairlawn, filled with food, fun and friendship, heartfelt laughter and a sense of community that residents treasure.
