Fern Brook Lodge Care Home Manager gets a surprise from residents
Residents and staff of Fern Brook Lodge care home arranged a surprise for manager Deb. She walked in to be greeted by accolades and gifts. They put a crown on her head and a red cape on her shoulders. She was presented with a bouquet, chocolates and her favourite tipple.
Natasha writes “Here at Fern Brook Lodge we had a Deb appreciation day. We wanted to show our home manager how much she is appreciated and to say thankyou! So we made the day especially for her. Our lovely Jackie made a cake of blueberry and lemon, and we presented deb with some gifts. There were definitely a few tears and surprises along the way.
Deb does so much for us all here at Fern Brook and we all wanted to say Thankyou.”
Deb said “I was blown away – one of the team had made a beautiful cake that we shared with the residents and had tea. It was one of the nicest things I have experienced for me in my 40 year career as a nurse!”
