Festive Fun and Playful Mischief: Elf Day Celebrated at Wickmeads

Wickmeads was filled with festive laughter and excitement as residents, staff and visitors celebrated National Elf Day, a cheerful event held annually to raise awareness and support for Alzheimer’s Society. The home embraced the day in style, with elves popping up in every corner and spreading joy wherever they went.

The celebrations were led by two particularly mischievous elves, Lorna and Jagoda from our Housekeeping team, who brought wonderful energy and humour to the day. With their playful antics and cheeky smiles, they caused a delightful stir as they made their way around the home, encouraging giggles and lighting up the faces of everyone they met. Their enthusiasm helped create a lively atmosphere that residents thoroughly enjoyed.

Residents were delighted to welcome the visiting elves and many joined in the fun, posing for photos, sharing stories and enjoying the festive silliness. The day was filled with warm conversations, colourful costumes and plenty of moments that captured the true spirit of Christmas at Wickmeads.
