Festive Joy at Buxton House with a Special Ballet Performance

Residents at Buxton House were treated to a truly uplifting Christmas experience as they welcomed the talented children from the Weymouth School of Ballet for a special festive performance.

The room was filled with smiles and anticipation as the young dancers performed a beautiful variety of styles, including modern, ballet, tap and contemporary dance. Each performance brought something different, showcasing the children’s skill, confidence and enthusiasm, all of which captivated the residents from the very first moment.

Mary and Mo were especially taken by the performance, watching intently as the children danced across the floor. Mo shared that the visit had made her day, a sentiment echoed by many others who spoke warmly about how much they enjoyed the energy and joy the dancers brought into the home.

Moments like this are a wonderful reminder of how powerful music and movement can be, particularly when shared between generations. The performance not only entertained but also sparked conversation, memories and a real sense of festive cheer throughout Buxton House.
