Fremington Manor and Kenwith Castle compete in quiz game
It was Fremington Manor’s turn to visit it’s sister home Kenwith Castle and an amazing day was had by all.
Residents enjoyed the scenic drive to Kenwith Castle, with a lovely on-board cup of tea whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. Fremington Manor residents. John and David shared their knowledge of the area, discussing how all the wonderful memories it brough back.
David upon leaving the mini bus said ‘I cant wait for the next scenic drive’

On arrival at Kenwith Castle, residents were met with teas and coffee and a game on the interactive table, Mary Foreman said the game of spot the difference was ‘very addictive’. Residents were served lunch in the dining room and on the menu that day was Duck, ‘cooked absolutely to perfection’ said Ruth Howell, all residents were in awe of the red cabbage and sent their compliments to the chef.
Resident – Margi was thrilled to see an old friend Jennette who was a carer at Fremington Manor for many many years and only recently transferred over to Kenwith Castle, so they were able to have a good catch up.
After lunch, everyone gathered outside for a quiz of who wants to be a millionaire FM v KC, with sun cream and sun hats all applied the competition began. It was a close competition but Kenwith Castle managed to win this round.
