“My name is Ash I have been working at Maiden Castle for 15 years in April, I have enjoyed so far, a wonderful career in this home. I have worked in several roles starting as a care assistant , senior care assistant, care team Leader, deputy manager and more recently home manager. The company support progression and pride themselves on this.
I have had the benefit of being supported completing my level 2 and 3, I was also supported in doing my degree in Management in health and social care which has been valuable in gaining knowledge for the role.
I have a huge passion to ensuring residents continue living life to the full in our home bringing bespoke experiences giving memories for the resident and loved ones. I am also keen with engaging in the local community bringing the local community into our home.
I am a proud dad to my twins, Archie, and Myla. I love my free weekends adventuring with them and my partner I enjoy golf and have recently hung up my boots playing football for Portland FC which I play in my spare time. I am a positive person that is always looking forward to the future and all the exciting journeys you can embark on.”

Jenna Reid
Deputy Manager
I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for approximately 15 years. Following the completion of a Business Administration Apprenticeship I worked as a Residential Home administrator which sparked my interest in caring for others which lead me to change my career path and become a Care Assistant. This took me on a journey working in various roles and completing qualifications which have supported me to develop further into leadership roles which I have worked in for the last 10 years.
I have worked at Care South as Deputy Home Manager now for just over a year. Here at Maiden Castle every department plays a crucial role ensuring the smooth running of the home. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff team, residents and their families, promoting independence and quality person centred care. I am looking forward to being part of new upcoming initiatives such as Dining for Dementia and Namaste care.
