Food at Talbot View
Fresh dining at Talbot View
At Talbot View, food brings people together and is a key part of our Food, Fun and Friendship promise.
Our chefs prepare fresh, home-cooked meals designed around residents’ preferences, creating a dining experience that feels both comforting and enjoyable. Mealtimes are sociable, relaxed and something to look forward to each day.

Dietary requirements, preferences and allergens
At Care South, we understand that every resident has their own individual tastes, dietary needs and preferences. Our culinary and care teams work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals to ensure that every meal is safe, enjoyable and tailored to the individual.
We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, texture modified and culturally specific diets, while also supporting residents with medical or nutritional needs. Allergens are carefully managed and monitored by our trained teams, with clear processes in place to help keep residents safe and reassured at every mealtime.

Given our mission to provide residents with the three F’s – Food, Fun and Friendship – mealtimes are very important to us and residents love coming together to enjoy delicious, nutritious and wholesome meals with their friends.
Our menu is expertly crafted by our talented Chefs, working closely with our Caterings Operations Manager, and is cooked and prepared onsite by our skilled kitchen staff. We are passionate about providing high-quality food for residents and we cater for all dietary requirements and meal preferences, always maintaining the same high standards when preparing alternative meals. Refreshments are also available for residents throughout the day.
Sample Menus
At Care South, we know that mealtimes are about so much more than food alone. They are moments to connect, socialise, reminisce and enjoy comforting dishes in a warm and welcoming environment. Guided by our promise of Food, Fun and Friendship, our talented culinary teams create varied menus that are nutritious, freshly prepared and tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs.

Spring / Summer
Our spring and summer menus celebrate lighter dishes, fresh seasonal ingredients and vibrant flavours, with colourful salads, fresh fruit, refreshing desserts and outdoor dining opportunities whenever possible. From summer puddings to freshly prepared picnic favourites, our menus are designed to bring enjoyment, comfort and a taste of the season to every table.

Autumn / Winter
As the colder months arrive, our autumn and winter menus focus on hearty home comforts and warming seasonal favourites, including traditional roasts, comforting casseroles and delicious homemade desserts. Rich flavours, nourishing ingredients and familiar dishes help create cosy, enjoyable mealtimes that bring warmth and togetherness throughout the season.
