The Care South in-house training department provides a wide range of courses for those working in care to meet their development needs at various stages of their career. In addition, there are many opportunities for general and management development. Staff in all job are also encouraged and supported in studying for and obtaining external qualifications relevant to their role.

New staff can be assured that, whether they have care experience or are new to the care sector, we are able to provide everyone with all the necessary training and support to do their job well.

During your employment with Care South, you will have every opportunity to keep your knowledge and skills updated and to extend that knowledge into new areas. An annual training programme is produced which details all the different learning and development opportunities available, including face to face training courses, update courses, blended learning courses, information booklets, self development workbooks and e-learning opportunities.
