Kenwith Castle celebrates VE Day
What a wonderful way to celebrate VE day. The activities team dressed up as land girls and they served up a lovely cream tea to the residents. A guitarist came who played and sang uplifting songs from the era. Everyone got involved singing and joining hands to traditional music, it was quite a party. Reflections on history from the period were helped with newspapers of the past.
