Quality nail care services from Care South

Looking after your hands and feet becomes increasingly important as we get older. Healthy feet help us stay active, independent and confident, allowing us to continue enjoying everyday life. Even simple foot problems can become uncomfortable if left untreated, affecting mobility, balance and overall wellbeing.

We work in partnership with the NHS Podiatry service based in Boscombe and GP surgeries across BCP.  Our nailcare team are trained and validated by the NHS Podiatry service and we offer NHS triaging support to enable support to people with complex healthcare condition, such as diabetes or taking blood thinners.

Professional Nail Care for Older People

As we age, everyday tasks such as cutting toenails can become more difficult. Reduced flexibility, poor eyesight, arthritis or other health conditions can all make footcare challenging.

Long or poorly maintained toenails can cause:

  • Pain and discomfort when walking
  • Pressure inside footwear
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Increased risk of infection
  • Reduced mobility
  • A greater risk of slips, trips and falls

Our simple toenail cutting service helps prevent these common problems, allowing you to remain comfortable, active and independent.

At Care South, our approach to care starts with you and your care needs. We work with you to understand what type of assistance you would like and how that care can best support your lifestyle.
