Buxton House residents tour the world with VR headsets
One of the limitation of growing old can be reduced mobility, preventing people from seeing the world. However, that’s not the case for residents at Buxton House care home.
Thanks to the VR headsets at the residential and dementia care home in Weymouth, they got the chance to walk with elephants in Africa and watch bears fishing in Canada.
Previous trips, all from the comfort of their home, have seen residents riding roller coasters at theme parks and diving under the sea to observe marine wildlife.
