Dorset House celebrates British Food Fortnight
In celebration of British Food Fortnight, residents at Dorset House have been tucking into some delicious British dishes. Assistant Chef, Patrick Garvey has been cooking up a storm in the kitchen for residents, including classics such as cottage pie, steak and kidney pudding, and fish & chips with mushy peas.
Not forgetting the all-important puddings, everyone has also been enjoying jam roly poly, trifle and apple crumble made from the apples grown in the home’s own orchard. The residents have worked very hard over the summer months looking after their garden and vegetable patch and it’s great to see them celebrating British Food Fortnight and enjoying the fruits of their labour.
