Dorset House host end of summer sports day
To mark what has been a wonderful summer at Dorset House, staff and residents all took part in a sports day to round off the home’s jam-packed summer activity programme.
Residents and staff were divided into two teams and competed in a series of games, races and activities. This started with an egg and spoon race, followed by a sack race (which involved passing teddies in a pillowcase along a line) and then target practice – throwing a hoop onto a stick. The finale was the all-important relay race which started with the residents passing a hoop along their line before the staff run around the garden in a battle to become the winning team!
