Fern Brook Lodge residents receive handmade knee blankets
A former member of staff at Fern Brook Lodge care home, Gillingham has kept up her caring way by hand-making items for the residents.
Donna, who previously worked at the care home, got in touch to see what she could do for the residents during lockdown.
As Donna was shielding, she offered to make some hand-made knee blankets for our residents. The blankets are very colourful, some have hand-sewn embellishments on them and they are just what our residents need when out in the garden on chilly days.
Everyone at Fern Brook Lodge was extremely grateful for Donna’s handiwork and caring nature, and wished her all the best while she was in lockdown.
