Frighteningly good fun at Care South’s Halloween parties

1st November 2019

Residents across Care South’s homes got in the party spirit for Halloween.

A number of the care homes held Halloween parties for residents, family and friends, and members of the local community.

Children from the Hamworthy area of Poole came to Dorset House dressed in their best Halloween costumes, while there was some excellent pumpkin carving at St Martins Grange, in Gillingham.

Residents at Alexandra House care home in Poole had been busy preparing for the celebrations, creating a spooky atmosphere for their afternoon party. There was lots of dancing and games, while Chef Emily made a fantastic cobweb chocolate cake. There was even a fancy dress competition.

Meanwhile, the residents and staff were up on their feet dancing to live music at Elizabeth House.
